Your Healthy Heart Campaign
In 2010 we were as busy as ever with our Your Healthy Heart Campaign giving health checks to 682 people.
The campaign takes us out on the road visiting people in their workplace. Employees have one-on-one time with a member of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Team who check their blood pressure, glucose levels, cholesterol and BMI. Personalised advice based on the results is then given and staff can discuss any concerns they may have.
Since 2008 when the campaign began, we’ve visited many different companies throughout the Wessex region. The scheme is a great way for employers to support and encourage their staff to be aware of and look after their health.
