Dear Heartbeat Supporter
Thank you for helping us make 2009 a fantastic year for Wessex Heartbeat. Over the year we saw the development of our outreach project "Your Healthy Heart", increased the amount and variety of help we have been able to give to the Wessex Cardiac Unit and our support to both the individuals and families of those affected by heart conditions.
Our team continues to develop. We will be without Fundraising Manager, Tiffany Friend-Seddon this year as she is expecting her first baby in March. Melody is leaving us to return to University. We will miss her and wish her success and happiness. We have been joined though by Katie Smith as our Community Fundraiser. Katie's role includes managing our community supporters and volunteers, promoting the charity to the community and providing assistance and information. The Heartbeat Education Centre team has had a boost with the addition of Lucy Sullivan as Conference and Events Co-ordinator. I would also like to welcome Jennifer Kenny who has joined us as my PA and Office Administrator.
With such a great team you will not be surprised that we have a full year ahead of us. There are many ways in which you can help us help people affected by heart conditions and also have a bit of fun along the way. Have a look on our website to find some great ideas.
