The Ambassador Role
Looking after all of the volunteers in a certain area and recruiting new ones, our Ambassadors play a vital role in helping us co-ordinate our fundraising efforts.
Responsibilities will include:
- Organising your local Community Group meetings
- To help & assist with the co-ordination of fundraising activities group members are involved in
- Offering guidance to people within your region who are not part of a Community Group but are managing their own event
- Ambassadors may be asked to attend cheque presentations in their local area
- Increasing the awareness of Wessex Heartbeat and its work, this could be done through talks at social clubs, presentations to groups or educational institutions
- Building awareness of your Community Group and engaging new supporters to join
