The People at the Heart of the Charity
Since Wessex Heartbeat began in 1992 people have formed the nucleus of our charity.
The patients and their families, the cardiologists, the fundraisers, the nurses, the trustees and the volunteers are the lifeblood of our organisation. We have always relied on the generosity of people in our fundraising; the skills of surgeons in life-saving techniques, the compassion of our nursing staff. We recognise that no entity can operate in isolation and in order to achieve a successful coexistence Wessex Heartbeat needs everyone to pull together towards the common cause of providing the best possible support for everyone affected by heart conditions.
