Friday 30 April - Monday 3 May (Captain Sir Tom Moore's Birthday Weekend)

During the pandemic, Captain Tom became a national treasure after completing 100 laps of his garden in celebration of his 100th birthday to raise money for his charity.

This year to celebrate what would have been his 101st birthday, we are asking YOU to register to join Wessex Heartbeat in celebrating his legacy and his spirit by taking part in the 'Captain Tom 100' during (Friday 30 April - 3rd May 2021) Captains Sir Tom Moore's Birthday Weekend.

'100 Anythings'

This challenge can be as easy or as hard as YOU want it to be and is for our supporters to be able to fundraise for us anywhere and anytime. No matter how BIG or how SMALL, '100 ANYTHINGS' can be achieved individually or as a team effort.

  • Baking 100 cupcakes
  • Cleaning 100 panes of glass/windows
  • Climbing upstairs/downstairs 100 times
  • Eating 100 grapes
  • 100 press-ups
  • 100 minutes of cycling

The list is endless, but the most important part of the challenge is that we want YOU to have FUN whilst raising money for our charity.

Pledge to take on the challenge using whatever '100 Anythings' you can think of then set yourself an amount you want to raise, for example pledge to raise a £1 for every press-up you do.

All money raised will help us to continue to support the best care for people living with heart conditions in the Wessex area and your generous contributions are needed now, more than ever.
