After 2 years of incredible support, Old Mutual Wealth are presented a plaque to commemorate the £47,000 raised for Wessex Heartbeat. Angela Raybould and her fabulous charity committee team at Old Mutual Wealth (now a part of Quilter plc) have been very busy over the past two years. With their help, Wessex Heartbeat have been able to put on the spectacular theatre shows that have become flagship events for the charity, thanks to their sponsorship and support; not to mention the immeasurable support received from the general support and donations of the fantastic investment advisers. "Supporting Wessex Heartbeat has been very important to us and we are absolutely thrilled with how much we’ve raised. While we hope none of our staff or customers will ever come to need to use the Wessex Cardiac Centre, which is supported by the charity, it’s great to know that our fundraising has helped to support the world-class equipment and services there." - Anthony Scammell from Quilter. The partnership with Wessex Heartbeat has also helped Quilter employees get fitter and healthier. Several staff donated money to receive healthy heart checks from the charities nurses. “We are absolutely blown away with how much Quilter has raised for the charity. It will go a long way in supporting our initiatives at Wessex Cardiac Centre and our healthy heart outreach in the community. What’s perhaps even better is that we’ve encouraged people to take a look at their own heart health and make positive changes, potentially stopping them from developing cardiac issues later in life.” - John Munro, CEO of Wessex Heartbeat.
