Womble Bond Dickinson has proven it has a whole lot of heart – by getting behind the work of Wessex Heartbeat.

The law firm’s Southampton office has partnered with Wessex Heartbeat as its charity of the year and aims to raise thousands for the worthy cause.

Womble Bond Dickinson also hopes to use the partnership to help staff and customers learn more about heart health.

"We're delighted to be supporting Wessex Heartbeat and the great work they do here in Southampton. The care and support they provide for people being treated at the Wessex Cardiac Centre is vital and we are proud to be a part of that. The WBD team are looking forward to getting involved, having some fun whilst raising funds for the charity."

Staff from Womble Bond Dickinson plan to get involved in several of Wessex Heartbeat’s popular fundraising events. Employees have already signed up to take part in The Hendy Wessex Heartbeat Cycle Sportive, which place on September 8th and features a 70-mile, 40-mile and 10-mile route.

“We’re thrilled that staff at Womble Bond Dickinson are already so engaged in fundraising. They money raised will allow us to support vital projects at the Wessex Cardiac Centre, as well as fuel our preventative work in the community.”
