Solicitors across the region have joined with Wessex Heartbeat to donate their time during Make a Will fortnight, which runs from Monday 18 February to Friday 1 March.

Eric Robinson Solicitors, Irwin Mitchell LLP and Abels Solicitors will draft standard wills during the two weeks, with suggested donations - ranging from £75 to £125 - all going to Wessex Heartbeat.

“It is so important to make a will, and this is an excellent opportunity for people to combine the process with a donation to our charity. It would be wonderful to one day discover that someone actually made a gift to us in their will during our event. The money we receive is vital in helping us carry out our work." - John Munro, CEO Wessex Heartbeat

Money raised during Make a Will fortnight will be used to support a number of Wessex Heartbeat services. These include providing a home-from-home at Heartbeat House to families whose loved ones are being cared for by Southampton General Hospital’s, Wessex Cardiac Centre.

“All donations and legacies help us support those living with cardiac conditions. We are incredibly grateful to these excellent local solicitors for their support and generosity.” - John Munro, CEO Wessex Heartebeat
