Avocado’s - are possible one of the most nutritious fruits out there, they are an excellent food, loaded with so many nutrients, many ofwhich are lacking in the modern diet. They’re weight loss friendly, heart healthy and, finally, taste incredible. You will hear people say that they are quite calorific, but we are yet to find someone who is overweight due to eating too many avocados! I eat at least one everyday… Wholegrain bread- Whole grains deliver a variety of important nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, protein, fibre and other healthy plant compounds. Eating whole grains may lower your risk of heart disease especially when they replace refined grains. It has also been linked with a huge reduction in obesity. Salmon- Super rich in omega-3 fatty acids, salmon can effectively reduce blood pressure and keep clotting at bay. You should try for two servings per week, which may reduce your risk of dying of a heart attack by up to one-third. Salmon also contains the carotenoid astaxanthin, which is a very powerful antioxidant and if you’re not a fan of salmon, then try mackerel, tuna, herring, and sardines will give your heart the same boost.
