Jumpers will get to meet their tandem instructor ahead of the jump and spend at least 30 minutes with them on the flight line before jumping. The instructors will ensure that you are look after from start to finish and that you are made to feel as comfortable as possible.
Cost: The entire experience will cost you £200 which includes a £50 reservation fee to secure your place.
Sponsorship: You will also be required to raise an additional minimum of £200 for the event, all of which will go directly to Heartbeat.
Don't forget to set up your fundraising page on our JustGiving page.
I wanted to do something challenging for my 40th birthday, so with the support from all my family and friends decided to take to the skies for Heartbeat. After getting over my initial nerves, I took the plunge (literally) and I can honestly say it was the most exhilarating experience I have ever had.
Booking Restrictions: Maximum weight for a tandem is 16 stone or 101 kgs
Age: The minimum age for skydiving is 16 but up until 18 you will require parental consent. There is no upper age limit for the event, although being 40 or over will result in you needing to sign a Tandem Declaration of Medical Fitness (this can be self certified).
Netheravon is the largest Drop Zone in Europe and spectators are right on the edge of the landing area, watching everything at close quarters. There will be a cafe on site, serving hot and cold drinks/food throughout the day and video opportunities available from ground to air and back again.
