Cardiac charity Heartbeat’s fundraiser of the year returns for 2026

Tickets are now available for a spectacular fundraising evening hosted by leading cardiac charity Heartbeat at the Mayflower Theatre on Sunday, 19 April 2026.
Continually building on the success of its “From the Heart” theme, Heartbeat presents Variety from the Heart, a community celebration of entertainment and generosity. The event will be produced by the renowned legend Paul Wright and hosted by the ever-charismatic Lloyd Hollett, known as ‘The Comedy Wordsmith’.
A celebration of talent from seasoned professionals and local rising stars, Variety from the Heart will feature musical theatre, live music, side-splitting comedy and specialist variety acts.
Audiences can expect star turns from popular Eastleigh-based Spot On Productions, Parkewood School of Dance and Sing Now Choir, plus special guests.
All funds raised from this year’s event will go towards Rotary Heartbeat House and the new heart failure unit at the University Hospital Southampton.
Tina Richardson, Head of Operations at Heartbeat, said: “In keeping with our ‘From the Heart’ theme, we wanted this event to be more than just a show, we wanted it to reflect the heart of our community. That meant bringing together not only professional acts but also showcasing local talent in a variety of heartfelt and inspiring performances. It’s a celebration of community spirit, creativity and connection.
