Cardiac charity Heartbeat is joining forces with theatre company Spot On Productions to bring an unforgettable charity cabaret to The Point, Eastleigh on Sunday 8th September at 7.30pm.
The evening promises dazzling performances featuring local talent, in a show that will help raise funds to make a difference to the lives of people affected by heart conditions.
“We’re delighted Spot On Productions is raising money for Heartbeat” said
Patrick McCarthy, Events and Corporate Fundraising Coordinator at the charity. He continued: “Not only can people come and enjoy a truly fantastic show, they’ll be helping us in our work supporting cardiac patients and their families.”
Alick Leach is Director at Spot On Productions, a volunteer-run musical theatre group formed to provide an opportunity for cast members who may not have the experience or confidence to join established groups.
He said: “Working on ‘Heart and Music’ with the 60-strong cast from Spot On Productions, as well as members of Parkewood Youth Dance Company and Pinpoint Productions, has been great fun and the content of the concert is extremely high level. Having the opportunity to perform whilst raising money for Heartbeat is the icing on the cake.”
The show will feature excerpts from more than 20 popular musicals in what promises to be a fabulous evening’s entertainment. Patrick McCarthy, Events and Corporate Fundraising Co-ordinator at Heartbeat said: “Whether you love Starlight Express, Beauty and the Beast, Moulin Rouge, Six or Frozen, this show has something for everyone.
“The whole cast and production team have worked so hard to create a spectacular show and we can’t wait to welcome audiences young and old to enjoy a wonderful evening at the theatre, while helping us to raise much-needed funds. Tickets are selling fast, so early booking is recommended.”
