Since our first e-newsletter that came out in March, the community has really started this year with a bang!
We have had some incredible supporters who have organised fundraising events, took up volunteering opportunities, embraced fantastic challenges and generously donated to helping us continue doing what we do.

Back after a 4 year break, the "Sue Zenthon Memorial Music Quiz" was reorganised by loving husband John, with the assistance from Sue’s former friends and colleagues Jo, Emmy and Mandy. With the brilliant quiz master Tim Richardson and technical guru Mike Andrews, 12 teams battled with the questions and managed a boogie or two in between, with this years winners, “The Rupert Murdoch new fiancé“ scoring a huge 166 points! 👏👏
This incredible event raised a fantastic £2,300!
New Forest Rotary hosted a Barn Dance in Brockenhurst Village Hall on Friday 1st March to raise funds for Heartbeat. They welcomed villagers and Rotarians to the event and after a successful evening of Barn dancing and a hearty supper of fish and chips, over £1,000 was raised to support Heartbeat House and the Psychological Support project.
Children's Cardiac Nurse Specialists, Katy Morton, and her friend Claire Harding, took their challenge to the next country by participating in the Barcelona Marathon (26.2 miles) back on the 10th March 2024, where the ladies raised an incredible £588 plus Gift Aid £147.

Jemma Connor from Hampshire, took part in the Eastleigh 10K back on the 24th March where she raised a wonderful £250. It took her 59 Minutes but was absolute amazed by the support and atmosphere which spurred her on. Massive well done Jemma!
Massive well done to Steve Reader and Richard Ball who successfully completed the 3 Peaks Challenge on the 6th April. They took on this challenge to support a close friend, Greg, in his rehabilitation following open heart surgery.
Steve and Richard have raised an extraordinary £1,030.82 plus Gift Aid of £246.25
Massive Shout out to the rotary clubs for their incredible efforts in supporting Heartbeat.
Thank you to Rotary Club of Southampton on their charity Quiz Night which raised a fabulous £203.
Thank you to Fareham Rotary on their charity Quiz Night back in February which raised a fabulous £1300 which is also part of their Pledge. They are going above and beyond.
