14 incredible individuals raise funds by climbing London’s O2 Arena

Back on Saturday 9th March 2024, 14 incredible individuals took on one of Heartbeats newest challenges in London, Climb the O2.

 

Taking on the exhilarating outdoor climb at London’s, The O2, Tanya Harder, Community Fundraising and Marketing Manager for Heartbeat, led the team of challengers up the 52m high structure to conquer fears and raise funds for Heartbeats Pioneering projects.

 

Braving the climb with Tanya, the team included 5 amazing nurses, Jo, Anna, Ruth, Natasha and Katy from the E1 Cardiac ward at the University Hospital Southampton, Heartbeats very own Psychological Cardiac Youth Worker, Becky Cutler, along with ambassador and patient, Matthew Cornick and regular supporters John Amor, Mike Andrews, Lorriane Ives, Michael Watkins, Michelle Caruana and Holly Ind.

 

With the teams’ extraordinary efforts, they raised a whopping total of £3,305, with donations still coming! Massive well done for team for your heard work in conquering the O2 and raising such an extraordinary amount.
