From Guernsey to Chelsea – and All for a Great Cause!

We are so proud to shout out one of our incredible supporters from Guernsey — the talented Claire Gaudion — whose stunning handmade baskets have featured at this years Chelsea Flower Show in London!

Each basket is completely unique and crafted with care — true works of art that are turning heads on a national stage!

But what makes Claire’s work even more special is why she’s doing it.

Claire is fundraising for Heartbeat in honour of her dad, who underwent major heart surgery last summer at the Wessex Cardiac Unit in Southampton. During his stay, Heartbeat House became a lifeline for Claire’s family — especially her mum, who was able to stay nearby in our “home from home” while supporting her husband through recovery.

“Everyone we met — from NHS staff to Heartbeat House staff and the other families staying there — were just incredible,” Claire says.

Heartbeat House is one of the many ways we support families through cardiac care, and we’re so grateful to Claire for turning her creativity into compassion in action.
